Trying to settle in here has been intense. Anthony needs to be driven around a lot because he's got to keep finding piece work in order to keep up the income. So here's his news.
Romeo and Juliet ended about when it should have started. They needed a few more weeks for staging and rehearsal. On the day they brought in the extras he almost skewered a little kid who was inexperienced enough to run between two fencing Veronans. Anthony's partner didn't see the boy coming, so Anthony grabbed the kid by the back of his shirt and threw him behind them and kept fencing. The boy's mother was shocked, but he put it in perspective for her by saying, "Would you rather have him bruised or stabbed?" Then when two soloists were rehearsing a move where Mercutio loses his saber and Tybalt flips it back to him with the tip of his sword, near disaster struck again. The flying sword went far too high, hit the ceiling fan, which sent it flying right into the corner where the guest artists were standing. The point missed Juliet by an inch and shattered the mirror behind the group.
Oh, and Anthony's dance partner is the only other LDS ballet dancer in the state that we know of. It's pretty funny when they're on stage pretending to flirt and talking about Family Home Evening and General Conference talks instead.
Anthony also beat out 500 other guys to land a P-Cola commercial after Christmas. That ought to be pretty good. He had the hair color and elfin features and energetic moves they were looking for.
He's also back preparing to certify at Arthur Murray. They put him on a 2 week trial period to begin with, but I think he'll be fine since the owners like him and he was correcting the guy who was working with him on his first day. "That's not the Rhumba, that's the Box Samba." (Or was it the Samba Box?) He also did some silver level steps in 2 minutes and then asked the other instructors how to do the basic. They were stunned. He learned early how to learn choreography fast, though. Probably about age 10 or 11.

I am glad for an update! Keep us posted on it all... will we be able to see the commercial?
We haven't seen you in ages. Miss all three of you!
Congrats, Anthony. Hope that in between being so busy you find time to enjoy yourself.
Who knew elfin looks could come in so handy! Bwahahaha. Congrats
