After Shannon takes a bath, she likes to play Package. It's a game where we wrap her up in a towel and pretend to tie her up with string and then stamp and address her like a package. Then we toss her in the invisible mail truck and go bump, bump, bump, off to whichever family member is far away. Usually it's Grandma and Grandpa, but right now it's Daddy. She loves pretending that she's arriving and that her Daddy is opening up the package to say, "A package for me? What could it be? It's Shannon! What a surprise! I love Shannon packages!"So she's excited to be really shipping out for NYC on Monday. And while she also loves playing in the box of styrofoam peanuts (who could blame her?), she knows we'll really be going together in an airplane. Can't wait to see her face when we meet Daddy at our destination. What a surprise!
